Like many students after Class 12th, I opted for the familiar route of Non-Medical studies. Biology held a certain fascination for me, the intricate workings of the human body a puzzle waiting to be solved. However, as I delved deeper, a realization dawned – while I appreciated the science, the clinical setting wasn’t quite my calling.
A Leap of Faith: Embracing Computer Science
This realization wasn’t a setback, but a chance to explore new horizons. Technology had always intrigued me, and the world of computers seemed like a fascinating playground. So, I took a leap of faith and enrolled in a Bachelors of Science program in Computer Science. This decision opened doors to a whole new world of logic, problem-solving, and the endless possibilities of the digital realm.
From Code to Lab Coat: A Shift in Focus
While computer science equipped me with valuable technical skills, a part of me still craved a more hands-on approach. The desire to apply my knowledge in a practical setting led me to pursue a Diploma in Lab Technician training. Here, I gained valuable experience in medical laboratory procedures, from diagnosis and sample collection to performing tests like CBC (Complete Blood Count). For five months, I immersed myself in this new world, learning the intricacies of medical testing and the importance of accuracy in healthcare.

Despite the rewarding experience, a nagging curiosity about the digital world persisted.
